The Greensboro Association typically helps with the town-organized Funky Fourth event by providing the free community feast after the parade, which ends at the Town Hall lawn. The parade often features both small and big-time politicians, the Honeybee Steel Band, Bread and Puppet Theater, Greensboro’s Lawn Mower Brigade, eclectic organizational floats, mega farm equipment, and Greensboro’s Road Crew and Fire Department. We also often sponsor the live and silent auctions to benefit essential efforts.
