Caspian Arts is an organization of artists who live and work in the area surrounding Caspian Lake. Our mission is to support artists of all types, to promote their work, provide networking and exhibition opportunities and to establish Greensboro as an art destination

Circus Smirkus is a non-profit, award-winning international youth circus founded with a mission: to promote the skills, culture and traditions of the traveling circus and to inspire youth to engage in life-changing adventures in the circus arts.Check out our programs: The Big Top Tour, Smirkus Camp, and Smirkus School Residencies.

Claire's Restaurant and Bar features local and sustainable produce, artisan products and an open philosophy of cooking which is inspired by the flavors and cooking of the world. Located in Downtown Hardwick, it serves dinner and contains a bar open during evening hours. "Blunch" is served on Sundays. Please check the website for hours. Reservations are encouraged to avoid disappointment.

Lodging and dining for 90 guests in a year-round waterfront resort on Lake Hosmer with rowing, canoeing, kayaking, trail network for walking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

Jennifer Ranz's studio, home and retail shop are in the magnificent renovated 1880s historic Greensboro Barn. In the barn shop you can view the wide variety of her work. Jennifer enjoys making one-of-a-kind whimsical, decorative, functional pottery and porcelain jewelry for over 30 years and also watercolor painting scenes depicting the beauty of the Caspian Lake area. In her shop, she frequently demonstrates wheel thrown pottery and hand building techniques with clay. The Greensboro Barn shop is open all year round by chance and appointments are always welcome!

The Friends of the Greensboro Free Library support library services for the community through fundraising, volunteers and serving as advocates of the many library services. New members are always welcome.

The Greensboro Land Trust protects open space in Greensboro by acquiring development rights through purchase and gift. We now hold and steward sixteen conservation easements, totaling 1,100 acres.

The NRLT is a partnership of people in Albany, Craftsbury, Greensboro, Hardwick, Walden, Wolcott and Woobury, working together to ensure that, as Vermont changes, rural land in our region is not lost to development. We help farm families conserve productive agricultural land for future generations. We protect forestland that supports a healthy wood products industry and sustains habitat critical for black bear, songbirds, deer, and other wildlife. We help to permanently protect irreplaceable fields, woods, and shoreline essential for recreation and scenic enjoyment.

Summer Music from Greensboro has been a concert tradition in northern Vermont for over thirty years that has enriched the lives of the greater Greensboro and Northeast Kingdom community, presenting exquisite performances by exceptional musicians from throughout Vermont, New England, and beyond. The 2012 concert programming, led by Artistic Director Karen Kevra, will continue to offer traditional and innovative music for all ages. SMfG, a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization, is a volunteer organisation. We invite you to join us for the concerts on Tuesday nights July 17, 24 & 31, and August 7 & 14, 2012. Subscriptions and tickets are available in advance on the website, and in person at the GUUC on concert nights. Adults are $20, Subscriptions are $85, and all under 18, are free.

The Center for an Agricultural Economy is a non-profit organization located in Hardwick, Vermont. Our work focuses on supporting and guiding the Northeast Kingdom and its Gateway Towns toward a sustainable, economical and ecological food system.Through community involvement, integrated and responsible agri-business, and a commitment to economic and nutritional health, the CAE works towards supporting a vibrant food system that can be used and adapted around the world.

The Craftsbury Chamber Players is now one of the longest, continuously running music festivals in the country and gives us the better of two worlds: the beauty of world-class music in the serenity of our northern Vermont setting. The group features programs for stringed and wind instruments, piano, voice, and harpsichord, giving six weekly evening concerts in both Burlington and Hardwick and in the afternoons of those days, mini-concerts for children. Each concert features the talents of nine (9) performers (on average), meaning that the eight, nine, or ten musicians who play in the evening also perform at the children’s concerts that afternoon. Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department

We provide after-school and summer enrichment opportunities for children ages 6-12. We also have a Senior Trotters program for older members of the community to get out and about on monthly day trips.
