Greensboro Wonder & Wisdom™ Summer Journeys is a Monday-Friday day camp experience designed to entertain and inform young minds, ages 6-12. Our days (8am-5pm) are packed with hands-on group learning activities and include time to relax with quiet activities.  Sunny days are capped with afternoons at Greensboro’s beautiful Caspian Lake with time for swimming and group play.  Come spend a few weeks this summer with us and develop a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.

Exciting News!  Our Summer Journeys weekly fee schedule changed earlier this year when we became licensed by the State of Vermont as a quality childcare provider.  We now offer state subsidized child care services to families of multiple income ranges. Summer Journeys 2010 Schedule:

June 28-July 3: Fourth of July Float Builders!  Help build and paint a Giraffe-styled float (M-F) and then join in the fun of the Saturday morning parade in Greensboro!

July 5-9: The Restless Earth!  What makes the earth wiggle and spit fire? Come and explore our planet’s active geological systems.

July 12-16: Down Home on the Farm!  Ride the “Us-Bus” to explore alpaca, dairy, and organic vegetable farms in and around Greensboro.

July 19-23: Be Aware!  Explore mind, movement, nature, and “me” with expert guides Teal, Lida, and Darren.  Strengthen your attention muscles and expand your life’s possibilities.

July 26-30: Water, Water, & Watercolors!  Join in fishing games, paint with water, and see what creatures live happily in our drinking water!

August 2-6: A Song in My Heart! Join with our composer friend, Jon Gailmor, to laugh, write, and record one new song every day!

August 9-13: Theater – Stories to Tell!  Join our actor friend, Edgar Davis, in writing and acting out new plays drawing from your summer experiences and imaginations!
