New News about Plowing

The Selectboard has again revised the driveway plowing policy for the coming winter in response to citizen feedback, including the GA.  Driveways will continue to be plowed by Brian Perry and Sons this winter, including winging back as needed, and costs are included in taxes as before.  However, the town will not open driveways mid winter.  Last year only about 4 driveways were opened, but it was very expensive.  This year, if you think you need your driveway opened mid winter, notify the Town this fall so they can plow it from the beginning of the season.   You can tell them to stop when you no longer need the plowing.  There is a letter to come on this policy, and it is expected it will also be reviewed during Town Meeting in February.
