Vacationing in Greensboro this summer?  It's time to think about whether you or anyone in your family needs to take the Vermont boating safety certification course.   Boating safety certification is required by law for operators born after 1974.

There are two ways to obtain certification -
1)  ONLINE
The complete study course is available on the web at www.boat-ed.com/vt. this link.

2)  IN A CLASSROOM
The Vermont State Police can help you find a classroom course in your area with a qualified instructor.  Current courses are found at http://www.dps.state.vt.us/vtsp/boat/index.html.   For additional information visit www.vtsp.org/boat or call 802-878-7111 ext. 2211

Additionally, the entire Handbook of Vermont Boating Laws and Responsibilities can be found at http://www.boat-ed.com/vt/handbook/pdf_index.htm.

Summer is almost here - let's make this season safe and fun on the Lake!
